Harley Fox

Harley has been in the health and fitness industry for more than a decade. He started out as a personal trainer and is now an Accredited Exercise Physiologist with an honours degree from the University of Queensland. 

To say that health and fitness is a passion would be an understatement. Harley is dedicated to his own fitness and to the health of his clients and patients alike. This is not a job for Harley, it is his life.

Harley has also been a bootcamp instructor for more than 8 years, coaching and guiding clients through Spartan Race obstacle courses from 5km to 54km distances, having run all of the distances several times himself including 3x Ultra races. He teaches boxing and Muay Thai to beginners and does conditioning with experienced fighters, drawing on his own knowledge from his years as a professional Muay Thai fighter. He is also a military veteran of the Royal Australian Navy. 

 

Since October 2018, Harley has been working as a carer for a young man with Cerebral Palsy, helping him to achieve personal goals, providing in-home support with health issues and daily living tasks such as washing, dressing and transport. Assisting with activities to enhance physical, social, emotional and intellectual development.

His most valued achievement is his family, Valerie and Lilou Fox. Valerie is an IT guru and Lilou is a Prep student. The 3 of them like to keep active together, Valerie an avid Crossfitter and Lilou a ballerina. Harley's own fitness involves Spartan Racing and Martial Arts (Brazilian Jui Jitsu) and he loves to take a holiday to go snowboarding now and then.
